Curvon Johnson has been a player and manager at Old Parmiterians FC for 5 years, contributing a lot of effort to ensure organised football is available for many people and participating in games himself. Mainly being involved with our 7th, 8th and 9th teams, Curvon embodies our constitutional commitment to provide football for all in our local community.
But now Curvon needs the help of our football community, as he is currently fighting to stay in the country with his British daughter and British partner. While his status is settled, he must raise the money to pay for residency, which has become prohibitively expensive. We want to help Curvon get to the target of £4,910 so that he can remain in the UK with his daughter and partner and continue to be part of the Old Parmiterians community that he has contributed so greatly to already.
1st XI captain Chris Garnett-Scherer (a.k.a Scherer) will be running in an Iron Man 70.3 Triathlon on 17th September 2023 and has decided to make Curvon’s cause the named beneficiary of his sponsored run. We ask that you please give generously to support Scherer’s suffering through three types of endurance tests in aid of Curvon’s ability to continue his life here supporting his family and being part of our football community.
