Keeping hope alive for Jennifer!

Jennifer needs your help! Help her get back on her feet! Help her fight cancer and beat it! Help her continue to fully live....Your support helps to give her hope.
On December 17th, Jennifer was admitted into the hospital for an extreme bowel obstruction. She had to be rushed into surgery at 12 am to relieve all the pressure that was built up. Her large intestine was pulled out of her abdomen to skin surface where she now has to use a colostomy bag. Along with the bowel obstruction, we found out that her biopsy test came back positive for colon cancer. The doctors found a large mass. It was so much to take in all at one time but we had to stay strong as a family for her. It took much coaching and reassurance that all would be well but I knew there was a lot that needed to be taken care of.
She was in the hospital for some time to recover and might I say, she’s one strong momma because she pushed herself through and was discharged December 23rd, which was such a blessing that we could have her home with us for Christmas.
Her life was changed though as she had to do things differently. She had to learn to care for herself in a very different way which was not easy for her at first. Physically looking at her body was tough. The changes took much time to get used to. But she’s hopeful and truly has a new spirit to her.
She’s more open to life in such a deeper way and really wanting to live it out even greater than before. She has so much long life ahead of her and we believe she will live to see it. She will conquer but we need your help to keep moving forward.
She had to resign from her current position which now affects her housing, her food, her medical as well as her medical supplies. We are starting this campaign in the hopes to help her with the financial burden and medical expenses. The burden is already so much to carry and adjust to, money should never add to it. Life is far greater than what money can buy. But because money is a necessity, it all adds up and life cannot be fully cared for without it. She needs your help! We need your help as a family.
The next step is getting her in to see the radiation doctor and start the process in the hopes to shrink down the tumor. If this is successful, she will go back into surgery to remove it and be on the road to life without cancer. We truly hope you can support us because it really does take a community to make it happen.
Thank you!!
