Keeping It Green Fundraiser

The availability and upkeep of green spaces in the city is vital. The Edward L. Cooper Community Gardening & Education Center has served as an "urban oasis" for over twenty years in the heart of Roxbury. Our organization preserves green spaces, sponsors urban gardening, supports community events, maintains a food pantry, a bee hive and empowers community residents.

Due to the impact of COVID-19 our usual revenue generated programs were cancelled and the associated revenues were lost. The Center has plans to cover the cost of an improved irrigation system for our two gardens, a new perimeter fence, and launch an exciting series of educational programs in tutoring and a new STEAM program that showcases African American Pioneers In STEAM that have roots in New England. But we need your support.
