keeping JOY in the JOurneY

We are Jess and Joe.  We have a 6 year old son.  We always dreamed of having multiple children.  We were blessed with a baby girl when our son was 3 years old.  Sadly, she passed at 3 months old.  Following her passing we were faced with unexplained infertility.  After 14 months of testing and fertility treatment we became pregnant with our second daughter.  At 16 weeks and 2 days of gestation, we faced PPROM (pre-term premature rupture of membranes) which resulted in pre-term labor and the loss of our second daughter.  Throughout our marriage, adoption has come up multiple times.  We knew this was something we were each open to.  When our first daughter passed, we considered it.  Through our fertility struggles we considered it more.  When we lost our second baby girl, it became something that we felt we were being led towards.  After much prayerful consideration, we decided that adoption was the way that we were meant to grow our family.  

As you may or may not know, adoption comes with many bills and fees.  This is a very humbling ask. We recognize that adopting is a choice and we can't expect others to fund a decision that we made, however we greatly appreciate your support.   Support is something that we have leaned on throughout the last few years and we are forever grateful to those in our lives who have provided this for us.  Thank you for reading our story and for your continued support.
