A married couple husband and wife who moved down to San Diego from the inner city of Los Angeles with their 4 kids, who wanted to make a better way for the kids. Both doing hair wife being a stylist and husband being a barber. They both worked very hard in other shops to save up enough money to get their own shop. They opened up their own shop in North Park San Diego. Being there for 3 years going through a few incidents with people putting racial slurs on the shop. To now dealing with covid-19. They survived the first wave by paying bills with their savings because they did not get approved for any grants or business loans because the people said that their business did not fit the requirements. Now we're in the second wave and the business is at jeopardy of getting closed permanently and they do not want that. They want to keep the shop that they worked very hard to keep. Its a family business.
