Keeping Steve independent

Donation protected
My husband Steven Old Coyote is 77 years old.  All his life he has been active.  He's been a cowboy, rodeo saddle bronc rider, wild horse racer, a carpenter, youth minister.  He also was a drug and alcohol program director and counselor.  In this capacity he was a beacon of light for so many people in recovery.  I know some folks he worked with really believe he saved their lives.  A couple of years ago Steven was diagnosed with Parkinson's.  He has been slowly losing his ability to walk.  The tremors are getting more severe.  Witnessing, this once vibrant human being losing his independence has been so heartbreaking.  Not wanting to be a burden he pushes himself to try to do things for himself.  We found a chair called Enable.  It's built so that it's balanced and rolls easily so he can't tip over.  With this chair he will have the ability to get around the house on his own without fear of falling.  We would love to get this chair for him so he can continue to do things for himself as long as possible.  He has dedicated his life to helping people in need and now he is in need.  Thank you all so much for contributing to Steven's independence and dignity.  An edit:  I made a mistake in the cost of this chair and upon checking, I found it more than I remembered it to be.  So the amount we need has  been changed to reflect the difference. Thank you for your understanding.
