Keeping the Animals at Pace University
Donation protected
The Pace University Farm is a place that so many students, alumni, and the community cherish. Due to the universities financial constraints, they have decided to take away all of the animals that have become apart of Pace’s long history and family. We are trying to prove to the university that we the students and community care about the farm and it’s animals. We need your help in raising funds to help sustain the farm and to show the University how important this is to all of us. We have emailed the University and started a petition, but this will not be enough. COVID-19 has already taken so much from so many people, please help us to not let the university take our animals. It is an estimated cost, that the farm animals food is 2000 dollars per year, the birds are about 1,200 dollars per year, and the song birds are 1,000 dollars per year. This is not including the animal keepers salary and supervisor. The student workers are willing to work as volunteers, but we still need your help! If the administration at Pace make the final decision that the animals are leaving (which we will fight), the money will go to keeping the rest of the Nature Center.
