Keeping The Dawn Treader Afloat

The Dawn Treader Book Shop is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where we have been selling used and rare books for 45 years. In this long legacy, we have grown from a tiny basement shop to a spacious storefront offering over seventy thousand books and housing one sarcophagus (which may or may contain a cursed mummy. We don't know, we don't open it). 

In the midst of quarantine we are facing financial catastrophe.  And we need help. After assessing our federal and state benefits, we are still at a massive deficiency. 

We are an Ann Arbor, MI, and even global, institution, which has shipped books to New Zealand and beyond.

We are multi-generational, unvarnished; we have heard folks come in, telling their small children, "When I was in college, this was my haven." 

We are a haven and we wish to continue to be one for a long time.
