Keidy Marie Fundraiser

Earlier this year, Keidy Marie was diagnosed with HLH at just a few months of age. HLH is a rare, life-threatening immunodeficiency that can affect people of any age. HLH results from an overactive immune response involving white blood cells that cause swelling, redness, heat, pain, and damage to organs when they attack healthy tissue. The hallmark of the disorder is Hemophagocytosis which is an abnormal consumption of blood cells by macrophages, a type of white blood cell, that is potentially damaging to major vital organs. Keidy Marie battled with this disorder for several weeks before she passed on May 20th at six months of age. As a result of our experience, we aim to create a nonprofit in memory of Keidy Marie to help families with children struggling with life-threatening illnesses. The funds collected here will go toward this mission of servicing these families and their children.
