**Support During a Tough Time: Honoring Keith Edward Banks, a Coast Guard Auxiliary Veteran**
I'm reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. My father, Keith Edward Banks, was a dedicated pilot and crewman for the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Corpus Christi, Texas. His recent passing has left multiple challenges that are hard to describe. For over 15 years, Keith not only served with the Coast Guard Auxiliary but was also deeply passionate about working as a boat mechanic. Boats and the ocean were truly his life.
As his only child, the weight of managing the financial aftermath of his passing is on my shoulders. The unforeseen expenses, from the funeral to settling his debts, have added up to an overwhelming $25,000. This total encompasses the memorial and cremation, his debt, taxes, missed wages, travel expenses, and the ongoing expenses of maintaining his estate while it goes through probate and the courts.
While it's challenging to ask for help during such a personal and vulnerable time, any support you can offer - whether it's a donation, sharing this campaign, or just keeping us in your thoughts - would be deeply appreciated. Together, we can commemorate the life of a man who was profoundly connected to the sea and offer some solace during this profound moment of grief.
Thank you for your understanding, generosity, and support.
Sincerely,
R. Tristan Banks,
