Help Keith Hedrick Return to an Accessible Home
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
Some of you may know me, but most definitely know my dad. My dad, Keith, has been a staple in the Fort Wayne community since moving here as a young adult. He was active in the Fort Wayne Rugby Club as a player and is still a staunch supporter of the group. He had also served the local Boyscouts of America for many years for Troop 2, getting involved when his sons were young and maintaining his support in many ways. Maybe most visibly at the entrance of the Haunted Castle. My dad has served in many roles, but his favorite is our dad and Pam's husband. He has been to countless sporting events, Scout outings, graduations, and celebrations. He loves his family and his community, and now we are asking for help.
Keith has been in the hospital since September 13, 2022. He has battled an infection in his right leg. Ultimately, to save his life, they had to amputate the leg. Keith has a long road ahead in many ways, but he will need to learn how to navigate the world, and he will need a world that can adapt to his needs.
All proceeds from this GoFundMe will be used on the construction of their home to make it ADA Accessible for Keith, and all excess will cover costs of medical bills, time off, and comfort for Keith and the family.
We cannot thank you all enough for even considering helping us. We are so grateful to the Fort Wayne Rugby Club for hosting their fundraiser on October 8, 2022. We created this GoFundMe as an additional opportunity to help if you cannot attend.
