Keith Iseler and Family

My 50-year-old brother in law Keith was diagnosed with a rare, life threatening disease called AL Amyloidosis (with Multiple Myeloma) in April of this year. The Amyloidosis has destroyed his heart, he is currently suffering acute heart failure. He has been undergoing chemotherapy at Karmanos in Detroit to treat the Amyloidosis; however, the prognosis is very poor. Keith has suffered many setbacks in his treatment due to the complications with the severe heart failure, many hospital-stays which affects his family in all aspects. His team of doctors referred him to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota to explore extensive treatment options including a possible heart transplant. They will be traveling to the Mayo clinic in the first week of August for at least a weeklong stay. Keith is a humble, hard worker, proudly providing for his family, while my sister Tracy has been a stay at home mom caring for their six children (with the youngest being 5 years old). They also have a medically complex son that requires out of state treatment every few months. Their home is always full of laughter and love. These kids need their Dad to get the treatment he deserves so he can be there for them and watch them grow. Keith, Tracy, and their entire family are so caring, thoughtful, and always willing to help anyone. Now it’s time to help the Iseler family. It has been a very financially stressful year for them. Travel, medical and living expenses have drained them. They need to focus on taking care of Keith and ensuring he gets the treatment he needs to survive. This is a heart-breaking experience to witness, Tracy and Keith mean the world to me and I want to do everything in my power to help them. Any help they receive is deeply appreciated, please keep Keith and his family in your prayers.
