Keith Mauro’s battle with ALS ( Lou Geurigs)

Keith has been battling ALS for nearly 2 years.  This horrible disease has progressed greatly, making it difficult to stay positive.  At this point it is too difficult to walk.  It’s affected his hands, arms and general body strength.   Keith is experiencing more pain due to muscle loss.  This disease does NOT let you forget for even ONE minute that you HAVE ALS.
Keith is part of  a clinical trial that takes place in Massachusetts.
Clinical trials provide “HOPE”.
Participating in this trial requires frequent trips to Massachusetts from Pt. Jefferson, NY.  Travel to and from as well as the cost of hotel/motel stays during these visits creates an added hardship.  
The financial burden upon Keith and his family has been increasing and the time for funding is now.
