Hi my name is Laurie I am the aunt to keith my husband who's sisters son that was taken in the most horrible way known to a parent, the rest of this is coming from kieth’s Uncle Darren. My thoughts and heart go out to you my sister stacey, I am Darren the uncle to keith, he was taken away from us on the streets of Edmonton alberta on Oct 1 2023 unfortunately the Edmonton police service only contacted his mother my sister on the 20th of oct 2023 19 days after his passing. The moment to which landed someone to take Kieth from us outside a homeless shelter left us in shock and dismay along with so much pain and loss, His family lives in Fredericton new bruinswick and I am raising the money to pay the cost of transportation of his body back home, a burial cost . His mother is having a hard time dealing with the loss as who really expects to be told that one of your children has been taken in the afternoon on the streets . I wish this wasn't something I would ever have to deal with as a parent myself let alone being his uncle . When is all this loss of loved ones death’s going to end? I know she isn't the only parent to deal with this, where and when does this end? no one deserves to have their life taken from them at an early age as he was only 39. A whole life still ahead of him. A parent shouldn't have to be buring their child before them! my heart is with my sister along with my other niece's an nephews . That now have a space missing in there hearts. The man who took Kieth’s life has been found and charged 24hrs of this happening. We tye family ask for help as financially my brother to whom we had no idea was homeless, so the whole family is trying too gather the help we need to bring Kieth home where he belongs. Thank you for taking the time to donate and helping my family with this tragedy. Long story short we didn’t find out due to miscommunication and information in order too find his family to report the news. The family is upset due too the late news, but we are all coming together to help in any way we can to make this ending to have Kieth where this all began and that is with his mother.
