Keith Stanley Fund

Hi, my name is Tina and I'm fundraising for the Stanley family. On Decembe19, 2023 Keith was finally admitted to Forsyth Memorial hospital after several trips to the doctor's office and hospitals. Shortly after being admitted Keith was moved to ICU and placed on a ventilator due to his health declining rapidly. Keith had pneumonia as well as a underlying bacterial infection in his lungs that was detected later. Keith was on a ventilator for a total of 9 days. During this time it was like a rollercoaster ride for the family. They would receive some encouraging news and then within hours Keith was declining again, but his family never left his side. Mind you all of this was taken place during Christmas. After the ventilator was removed, Keith remained in ICU for several more days before being moved to ICCU, and then finally to a regular room. On January 12, 2024 Keith was released from the hospital and moved to an intense rehab facility for at least 2 weeks. Keith will have another CT scan done in February, depending on how his lungs look he may have to have a lung surgery. As you can imagine this has been overwhelming for his family. Keith and his wife Doris are also raising 2 of their grandkids and have been out of work during this time. First and foremost we ask you to continue praying for Keith's healing and for his family. Any amount you feel you can give would be greatly appreciated as Keith's return to work is unknown at this time.
