Keith recently passed on April 28, 2022. He was a loving father, grandfather, nephew, son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of those around him. He spent many years in the tow industry, even with his health declining. He has had many health issues during the past few years, including kidney failure and congestive heart failure. For the past 2 1/2 years, my dad and I moved in together and I became his caregiver. During this time, I have been teaching, working towards my Master's, as well as taking care of my 6 year old son. Throughout the time I had with my dad, he was my biggest supporter and became my rock during the most difficult time of my life. From the moment he moved in with me, I watched his health deteriorate quickly. On April 11th, he was admitted to the hospital and placed on maximum life support. He showed some improvement with coming off the impella, but was kept on a ventilator for 2 1/2 weeks. During this time, his health continued to decline. It is with a heavy heart that I made the decision to end his suffering, and he passed the night of April 28th. Making this decision was the hardest thing I have ever done. Not only did I lose my father, but my son lost his grandfather, and others lost a great friend.
We are absolutely devastated by Keith’s passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of cremation, as well as other necessities as I get back on my feet after this sudden event. I appreciate any help given.
