Keith Wells' Journey To Health

Our dad is an incredible inspiration for us. He has taught us patience, provided unconditional love, and most importantly taught us perseverance.
He loves mountain biking almost as much has he loves his family. If he isn’t spending time with us, you can find him on one of his favorite trails. He has tried to convert us to riders, but we are too afraid to ride with him because he will definitely kick our butts!
Within the last three and half years, our dad has been fighting cancer with his 'all'. During this time he has had four surgeries: two on his neck, and two in his left lung (where one left him with one less lobe). He has undergone intense inpatient chemotherapy and several weeks of radiation. The cancer has now spread to his bones, which we first learned about on Thanksgiving....a very tough day.
After one round of five-day inpatient chemo and ten days of radiation in December, our dad has opted not to continue the rest of the four cycles, and to stop chemotherapy. We are now engaging alternative therapies and trials for this extremely rare and painful form of cancer.
We are blown away and so thankful for your well wishes, support, and prayers. Many of you have been asking how to help our family in this time. Things such as letting Abbi out, stocking the pantry, as well as financial support are greatly appreciated. This GoFundMe page will aid in the mounting medical expenses as well as help fund trials, travel and hospital stays. We will also use the page to provide you with updates on what's happening.
We thank you all for your love and support in helping our dad focus on regaining perfect health in 2016!!
Love,
Aly and Brandi
