Kelaiah's Study Abroad in Spain

Hello friends, family, and all the random kind people in the world! My name is Kelaiah and I have just finished my sophomore year at Arizona State University. I am a business student in W.P. Carey and I am pursuing a Concurrent Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management and Marketing, along with minors in International Business and Communication. I am blessed to say that I have been given the opportunity to spend 4 months in Barcelona, Spain. With this opportunity, I hope to explore different cultures, languages, and traditions, and gain an overall experience that will educate me and give me a more diverse outlook on life.  

I’ve been out of the country before but now that I’m older, I know this experience will allow me to take in and truly appreciate everything that Spain has to offer. As a business student, I believe that it is important to be as well rounded as possible and to understand the different business management practices in not only the U.S., but all over the world. Along with enriching my business perspective, I am sure I will gain a new understanding of my own personal values and additionally become more self-confident, self-reliant, and independent(even though my mom says I may not need any more of those things). I’m really looking forward to four months of alot of Spanish, eventful days, sleepless nights, and unforgettable memories.

I have received a partial scholarship from ASU to help fund the tuition and fees for this study abroad program, but still have a substantial amount left to pay for other expenses.
