Kelcey Hendricks: DJ, Haunter, and Heart of Gold

Kelcey, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and son, brought joy and warmth into the lives of everyone he touched. Known for his infectious smile, his home was a haven for those seeking love, community, and empathy. Kelcey was not just the life of the party, he was the heart and soul of every gathering.

A passionate DJ, known as DJ Lowkey, he spun the soundtrack of countless unforgettable moments. Beyond the music, Kelcey was a dedicated volunteer in the local haunted house community, serving on the board of Scare Productions, where he played an instrumental role in creating the spine-tingling experiences that brought smiles and screams to so many. He was also a devoted member of Seattle's Crypticon, where his love for horror and the macabre found a home.

To honor Kelcey's memory and celebrate his life, we are coming together to raise funds for his beloved wife, Christina. We aim to help her cover any funeral expenses and create a fitting memorial at the Des Moines Beach Park Event Center. This center held a special place in Kelcey's heart, as it was the long-time home of Scare Productions Haunted House, where he poured his heart and soul into crafting unforgettable scares and memories.

Additionally, these funds will provide essential support for Christina during a challenging time in her life. She was laid off from her job just prior to Kelcey's passing, and our community can come together to offer the love and support that Kelcey provided to so many.
