Kelci Stanfield's Family

The best thing I’ve ever done with my life was becoming a mama. I could never have known and could never explain how much joy my little family gives me. You can imagine, then, how much more it hurts to hear the oncologist say “we’ve run out of treatment options. I’m sorry. There’s nothing more we can do for you.” How my chest burns when I have to tell my babies that mama won’t be alive for much longer, but how I will always love them, how I’ve fought my hardest to stay with them as long as I have. They are my entire world.

Benjamin has helped me create the exact life I’ve always dreamt of, and I will love him eternally for being my greatest love, my perfect other half. I have complete faith in his parenting and I know he will rock being a single dad, but money will be tighter than ever, and medical bills are sure to pour in. What time I’ve been given will require expensive treatments to continually push the cancer back and buy ourselves a few more moments together as a complete family.

I’m not asking for gifts, this Christmas, but if you wouldn’t mind donating, the money will go towards treatments and later to household expenses to keep Benjamin and the kids afloat.
