Keli & Jeff's Embryo Transfer Journey

Donation protected
For anyone who has watched a loved one walk the journey of infertility or have had to walk the journey yourself, you know how painful the process is.  For anyone who has not, consider yourself blessed!

Keli and Jeff met 8+ years ago and knew immediately they were going to spend the rest of their lives together.  After they married 3.5 years ago, they knew their journey wasn’t complete.

Keli has suffered for years from endometriosis, PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), premature ovarian failure & suspected DNA/chromosome issues with her eggs.  She has had countless surgeries and procedures throughout her life to try and bring her closer to her lifelong dream of becoming a mother one day.

After 2 IVF (In-Vitro-Fertilization) treatments, 2 IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) and numerous medicated cycles failed, she was starting to lose hope until she finally got the phone call she has been waiting for.  She was at the top of the list for donor embryos!!  Donor embryos are embryos that are frozen 6/7 day post fertilization and were donated anonymously by another couple that did IVF and had ‘extras’ after their family was complete.

Keli and Jeff have now accepted 3 embryos, 1 of which will be implanted into her uterus and if all goes well, Keli will become pregnant and birth the baby!!!  Keli had a procedure done on 9/30 to check if her uterus is good to go and received some unfortunate news.  The saline ultrasound showed a polyp in her uterus that must be removed before they can start the process.  If not removed, it could keep the baby from implanting and the last thing they need is another disappointment on their infertility journey.

There are still a lot of hormones and appointments ahead of her but the excitement they have for this opportunity is priceless.  Unfortunately, the cost of all the procedures and surgeries ahead of her are not!  The cost of these medications and procedures are completely overwhelming but I know they would do whatever it takes to bring their miracle baby into this world.  I would love to help remove some of the financial stress off them so they can focus on nothing but the exciting adventure they have ahead of them.
