Kellan’s rehabilitation journey
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Sandy Gasis and I have organized a fundraiser for a dear friend, Casey Drucquer and her son, Kellan.
On October 21st, Kellan was rushed to Temple Hospital where he underwent a ten hour spinal surgery. The doctors discovered that he had completely severed his spinal cord known as the “T-11, Asia A.” The doctors informed the family that it is a miracle that he survived.
Kellan will undergo long hours of intensive rehabilitative therapy, require medical equipment and incur countless transportation expenses before even scratching the surface, of longer-term costs associated with this injury.
Casey, will be out of work, since caring for Kellan is going to be her full-time job.
Any donations would be beyond helpful to assist with both Casey and Kellan’s living expenses as well as to the adaptations needed to the home to medically accommodate Kellan’s long-term recovery.
Although Kellan has encountered what seems to be an impossible crisis, both his spirit and faith are strong. His smile brightens his hospital room when family, friends and hospital staff visit.
The family knows that God is by their side during this long, difficult road ahead.
Please consider donating, as it will be so graciously appreciated.
Thank you for your support.
