Kellar's Angels Fund

Kellar is a wife, mom of 2 awesome kiddos, business owner, 36 years young and now diagnosed with stage 3 metastatic breast cancer. She plans to start treatment at MD Anderson in Houston as soon as possible! This will consist of chemo, surgery, radiation and hormone therapy. It is surely to be a long road to kicking cancer's tail, but she remains in good spirits because of her faith and the incredible community behind her.

We are Kellar's Angels.

We all know Kellar and Steve are super strong and we have no doubt she will get through this, but the journey is just beginning. We know people want to help in anyway. And while cooking food for them is great and VERY appreciated, there are the "other things" that would make a world of a difference.

The little stuff that gets overlooked.

The daily life things that you don't think about until you need it—like going to the grocery store each week, forgetting toilet paper, running out of eggs for breakfast, cleaning the house, needing to order dinner because there is no energy or mental-brain-space for cooking. You know, the regular mom stuff you wish you had an assistant for.

We all know the best way to help out is to help life remain as normal as possible and relieve those little stressors. 

That is what Kellar's Angels are for, and you can be apart of the team supporting them!

We are a group of people that will do those errands, shuttle kids, swing by the store, cook food and help take care of all random things during this time, while Kellar will need to focus on beating cancer and time with her family.

We want to create an "emergency fund" for them with the money raised. Kellar's Angels Fund is going to be used for their everyday-life-with-cancer-expenses and travel expenses to Houston.

To start, here are what the funds will be used for:

1: Restock of non-toxic cleaners and household supplies. We will be doing an overhaul all the  cleaning supplies and household chemicals in their home. Complete clean out and restocking of what they need of toxin free cleaners and house supplies.

2: Weekly Grocery Haul. Each week we will be doing a grocery store trip to get the essentials, the little stuff. Especially for the days they return home from Houston. Not everyone is a great cook, and don't forget Kellar actually LIKES to cook, but we do know everyone would love a professional shopper and drop off service! We will check in with Kellar to gather her list each week, and do the shopping for her.

3: Travel expenses. They will be traveling back and forth from Houston a bit. Any funds needed will be used for travel expenses and eating out. Several people have mentioned wanting to do a Waitr gift card, and that would be fantastic! Or you can give through here and they can use it however they need.

This is not a fund to raise the most money possible, so give what you feel compelled to give, and give multiple times if you want. This journey will be months long and we plan to keep the help going through out the process! We will keep everyone updated on what the funds get used for!

Any funds left over once Kellar is HEALED and CANCER FREE will be donated to a local breast cancer charity!!!
