Lifesaving surgery recovery for Kelle Jolly

Kelle Jolly needs our help!

Knoxville's favorite jazz singer and ukulele extraordinaire is in trouble - several medical issues have compounded to the point where Kelle needed to go into colon surgery this morning. Kelle is going to have a long and hard recovery over the coming months, and will have to struggle to make it all the way through without working.

As the founder of the Ukesphere and organizer of the Women in Jazz Festival, Kelle has given a tremendous amount to our community. Kelle is also our musical ambassador to Muroran, Japan (Knoxville’s sister city). Kelle and Will got married there, and frequently travel to Muroran to play in jazz festivals! As Knoxvillians, Murorans, and friends of Kelle, we have the privilege to help her through this very hard and painful time.

All proceeds will be given directly to Kelle.

テネシー州ノックスビルで人気のジャズシンガー兼ウクレレ奏者のケリーがいま困っています。彼女は、4月8日の朝、結腸の手術を受けなくてはいけないことになってしまいました。今後数カ月の間、働くことはできず、長く険しい完治の道を歩まねばなりません。 　

ユークスフェアの設立や女性のためのジャズフェスティバルの開催など、ケリーは各方面で活躍しています。彼女はまた、北海道の室蘭（ノックスビルの姉妹都市）では音楽大使としても活動しています。旦那さんのウィルとはそこで結婚し、室蘭のジャズフェスティバルにも頻繁に足を伸ばしてくれています。ノックスビルにお住いの方、室蘭にお住いの方、ケリーの友人の方々、ケリーの辛く長い完治のための道のりの手助けにぜひご協力お願いします！
