Kelli and Darrick Lee

Over the course of the last year, the Lee family has been fighting a battle that no family wants to face. Darrick was diagnosed with Primary Cutaneous Gamma Delta T Cell Lymphoma which is highly aggressive form of Lymphoma. He has been receiving various treatments in an effort to stop progression. He had to leave his full-time position to the effects of the treatment. He has been through numerous rounds of chemo and through a stem-cell transplant. Bryce, his 18 year old son, was his stem cell donor, and bravely underwent a procedure to aide his dad in his recovery. The twins, Avery and Brody are 10 years old and have been supporting dad all through his treatment through laughter and prayer. The family has worked so hard to make lasting memories during this time as the future is uncertain. Last week, the family found out that Avery, one of the twins, needs to have surgery.

Kelli, an assistant principal at Royal Springs Middle School, has been the sole source of income throughout the process including not only medical bills, but travel costs to get him to the doctors that have seen this rare type of cancer to make sure that Darrick received the most effective care. His care has taken precedence over bills and after a year, the financial strain has reached a point that help is needed.

Darrick was a baseball coach at Grant County High School and has been committed to numerous youth programs throughout the community.
