Hi there! I really appreciate you coming here to read my story. My name is Kelli and I recently started working on a charity to help clothe and feed the homeless in NYC and other places where I travel.
After an experience of my own having had my feet swell during a trip, I realized how important proper shoe wear was and I started noticing that the homeless of the city I love, NYC, didn't even have the proper socks. I had friends and fans of my fetish work donate money for me to buy diabetic socks in order to help some of the homeless keep their feet dry and have proper circulation. I started to walk around the city and hand out both diabetic and regular socks to men and women I saw living on the streets. Anyone who I saw. For the first time in my life, I wasn't depressed. I felt like I was doing something really meaningful. From that moment, I started the research process of starting a non profit called "Clean Socks Rock". This has been halted since the bite but I hope to restart shortly after my surgeries are finished. My main focus is to give out diabetic and regular socks to the homeless. Since there was so much extra bread from the wedding, it was the perfect opportunity to help the many mentally ill and homeless in Midtown NYC.
After my sisters wedding on the weekend of September 16th, I went out to Midtown Manhattan and passed out the extra rolls left over from the reception dinner.
While I was walking near Port Authority, I decided to hand out some bread to a sleeping homeless man with a dog.
When I leaned over to drop the bread near the sleeping man, the dog jumped (the dog was tied up appropriately, I must have foolishly gotten just a bit too close) and bit off the tip of my nose.
My profession is based on my physical appearance as a Dominatrix, model and actress and I am currently going through a series of 4-5 reconstructive surgeries on my nose and face. This is very much affecting my ability to make money, support myself and pay my bills.
Here is a link to the surgery I recently received and am in the process of revisions so you can better understand the actual process I am going through : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nasal_reconstruction_using_a_paramedian_forehead_flap
As you can see, this is a pretty facially invasive surgery. I have been having a very hard time thinking about anything else but healing and since I worked for myself prior to the incident... working right now is the last thing on my mind and my doctors told me that if I continue to stress about running my business, it will hinder my healing and mental state.
I don't know what else to say other than, I NEED HELP. Based on my estimate, I will be out of work for about 2 months until my face looks relatively normal enough for me to continue doing my job. This amount only the tip of the iceburg of the bills I will incure but literally even 5 dollars can help.
I am blessed to be alive and that the dog did not go for my neck or eyes. I am highly aware of my choice and that I did this to myself, but if you can help at ALL, I will greatly appreciate it. Any excess funds will be put towards socks for the homeless which I will give out while visiting inner city areas of both NYC, Pennsylvania and Florida.
I appreciate your time reading this and really appreciate your concern for just clicking. I love you all and I am so happy I can continue to live life with just losing the tip of my nose... which is currently regrowing from my forehead :-)
The dog was not put down. It was doing its job by protecting its owner. I am honored it spared me my life.

So to say the very least I have been incredibly blessed. I know a lot of people suffer from depression. This incident I am sorry to say, has thrown me into major bouts of manic depression. There are times I am very productive, and there are other times I just want to sleep and not wake up for hours and hours. I have thankfully delved more into video chat sessions with my BDSM business so this has been helping me cover my current bills without having to travel so much these past few months. So far the word is that my past 4 surgeries have been covered by my insurance. Otherwise I was looking at around 12-15k as each surgery was estimated at 3-5 thousand and I had 4 of them. The money raised here in addition to the donations from my clients has allowed me to survive during these past 8 months. I am eternally grateful to all of you. I don't know where I would be right now if it wasn't for your generosity. Between rent, car payments, car insurance, bills, I wouldn't have been able to do it. I now know why its so important to have some sort of disability insurance.
This journey is almost over. Thank heavens. My nose looks AMAZING considering what happened. I am incredibly blessed to have been placed in the hands of such an amazing team of surgeons for these past 4 surgeries. Special thanks to Dr. Flores.
Saying this, there is a small amount of fine tuning that will make a lot of difference in my profile and movement to my face that I would still like to get done to feel completely myself again. My nose is very flattened from the dog biting off the tip. I am however very nervous because the few things I want done are very fine tuning details. I have been spending these past 6 months or so doing a lot of research and have found a Doctor I think will get what I need done flawlessly. This surgery is not looking like it will be covered by my insurance. This Doctor is a nose wizard. His name is Dr. Kassir. Here is a link to his instagram and you will see exactly why he is my choice for this last surgery. https://www.instagram.com/drkassir/
I raised my GoFundMe goal because depending on what needs to be done, his surgeries, as most specialist rhinoplasty and facial surgeries do, run anywhere from $9,500-$15,000. The new goal I have created (minus gofundme fees) plus me working my *ss off should cover the surgery and expenses.
This last surgery is by no means necessary and the last thing I want to come across as is vain. I am incredibly grateful to be alive and have my eyesight and my ability to smell. Please know how humbled I am by your generosity and by no means do I want anyone to feel obligated to donate. I am out of the woods. You are my heroes. I love you all even though I don't know the majority of you personally. Thank you a million times over.
