Kellie Stanley and Sean Matthews house fire
Last night, Kellie and Sean received an unimaginable phone call from their neighbor. Their back porch caught on fire. The fire spread quickly and the damage is extensive. The fire Marshall has deemed it a total loss. Their home is boarded up and they are staying in a temporary residence for the foreseeable future.
Kellie and Sean are mostly private people who have a lot of pride. They are not a couple that asks for help. In fact, they are the people who typically give it to those around them.
Kellie is a strong, loyal, determined, and loving friend. She always shows up for those around her and she is a joy to consider a friend to those who know her. She is fiery and a very hard worker at all that she does— especially decorating for Christmas.
Sean is your typical law enforcement officer. He is calm, reasonable, level headed, and strong. His career is spent responding to other people’s tragedies day in and day out. He has responded to countless emergencies and helped people through some of the worst traumatic situations. He is a leader, he is mild mannered, and he is the quintessential community helper. Sean does not ask for help either. He is used to helping others without a second thought.
Kellie and Sean need us in any way we can support them. Arguably the most important part of their family is safe— both of them and their fur baby Memphis survived the fire. Everything else is gone. It will take them a while to rebuild and anything we can do to help them now that they are facing their own tragedy is appreciated.
