Kelly Bishop's Memorial

With a heavy heart I’m writing this, as many of you know our beloved Kelly has had a long, hard fight with liver cancer. In December of 2020 she was given a terminal diagnosis called cholangiocarcinoma. Thanks to her sheer will and determination she made it almost 3 years past what she was told. She fought through chemo, and 2 experimental trials until her body stopped responding to treatments.

Just three months ago she was painting in her garage turned art studio, and swimming in the ocean with her 2 surviving children, Paul, and Holland. Such a quick turn of events has left her family devastated. At the time of her diagnosis, her youngest, Paul, was only 5 years old. She fought to be there for Paul’s 8th birthday and watch her grand baby, Landon, turn 7. Nothing mattered more to Kelly than family. Towards the end, all she was worried about were her children.

October 6th she was told to only expect 3-6 months. Kelly told us all to expect much less and unfortunately, she was right. After a long, hard, confusing 2 weeks our sweet Kelly's body could no longer fight, and she passed away on October 20th. Any costs are left up to her daughter, Holland. I'm making this so her family can give Kelly the memorial that she deserves and to help support them in these extremely difficult times.
