Kelly Kramsky's medical and unexpected expenses

On July 31st, our sweet and caring Kelly finally reached her breaking point with pain she had in her legs for months after brushing it off as an injury from exercising and went to the ER. Since her husband was already at work, she called her mom to bring her. Little did anyone know, how quickly her life was going to change. After a CT scan, it was discovered that Kelly had severe blood clots in both of her legs which would require immediate surgery. Due to the extent of her clots and the surgeon referring to some of them as being as hard as concrete, this would not be her only surgery. After trying blood thinners and two more surgeries it was decided that it would be best for her to be flown via Flight for Life to Froedert in Milwaukee, WI. After arriving at Froedert it was quickly decided that her left leg needed to be amputated above the knee. Just over 2 hours after arriving, they brought her in for surgery. The surgery to amputate her leg up to the mid-thigh was just shy of 7 hours long. They also had so do surgery on her right leg to relieve clots and restore circulation so she did not lose that leg as well, even though some muscle did have to be removed. Kelly is now undergoing physical therapy to help her learn to live life as an amputee. This is obviously going to be a financial burden that no one ever expects or plans for. We are asking for any donation you could offer to assist in medical costs, cost of renovating their home to make it safe and accessible for her and to help cover income Kelly and her husband Jeremiah are losing during this time. It is going to be a long road to her eventual recovery and getting back to her day to day life. Our family just wants to make her home is as accommodating as possible for her because she deserves the world. Kelly is the sweetest and kindest person ever and we are all grappling with how something so horrible could happen to such a great person.
