Kelly Meyer medical bills

Hi, my name is Diana and I'm fundraising for me and my husband Kelly to help cover the cost of medical bills. On March 22, 2023, I took Kelly to the emergency room where he nearly collapsed upon arriving. The team at the hospital determined that he was bleeding internally and began to give him blood. Unfortunately, the small hospital was running out of the blood he needed and couldn't treat him appropriately. The nearest hospital was unable to admit him so he was careflighted to Amarillo. Over the course of the next few days it was determined that he had a tumor in his stomach. It is a rare gastrointestinal tumor known as a Gastrointestinal Stomal tumor or GIST. Kelly's was the size of a softball and had to be removed immediately. Thankfully, the doctor was able to get the whole tumor out and Kelly will not need chemotherapy or radiation. Unfortunatley, Medicare will not cover the entire costs of the procedure, the flight and the time in the hospital and that is where we need help. We are asking our friends and family to please donate as much as you can to assist us in covering these medical bills. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and willingness to help.
