Kelly Moreno surgery recovery fund

On November 11th, Kelly undergoes surgery to repair a fractured calcaneus. This surgery entails detaching the achilles tendon, shaving the bone, inserting anchors and possibly screws to repair the tendon and calcaneus (heel). The recovery period requires a six-week no-weight bearing initial phase, followed by four months in a cast/boot, with the added burden of the inability to drive for four months! The entire recovery period is anticipated to be nine to twelve months.

As many of you know, she was well on her way to starting a new business, Quench Botanicals, which saw great success at the local farmers market. She recently completed a business ignitor program and was searching for a storefront property to open a brick-and-mortar in Nevada City, CA. This surgery interrupted her plan (TEMPORARILY!) and with it, halted her ability to work and earn a living for a minimum of four months.
