Kelly Mosher’s Fight Against Lung Cancer
After a persistent case of pneumonia, Kelly was diagnosed with lung cancer in March of 2019. She has endured months of rigorous chemo and radiation, and multiple hospital stays due to extreme esophagus damage from the radiation. She also had to do a round of precautionary radiation on her brain to limit any possible spread of the disease. As of September, she is considered to be in remission! Though she continues to need weekly magnesium infusions, and now has Barrett’s Disease as a result of the esophagus damage.
Through these months Kelly has shown everyone just how much of a fighter she is. She has continued to be an All-Star Nana to her now 9 grandbabies, a Mother, and a Wife. Her willingness to give to everyone around her has never wavered in this time, despite her own struggles. Her determination, strength, and the support of her friends and family have and will continue to get her through.
Unfortunately, all of this medical care and the subsequent trips to Syracuse to receive treatment take a financial toll and can create a burden. If you are able to offer any donation, no matter how big or small, to assist Kelly and Wayne with these debts they would be eternally grateful.
There will be a Chicken BBQ held on December 7th at the Oswego Moose Lodge.
