Hello, my name is Kim, or as kelly called me (Timface), I just wanted to start by saying a bit about kelly - MY smelly. She was an amazing human, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, niece, daughter, + friend to everyone who knew her; she would give you her last penny if you needed it. Since she was a baby, she has been poorly from birth. She has had hundreds of hospital appointments and operations to try to make her better, but to no avail. She knew she was on a downhill climb ever since her very first pacemaker at 13 years of age; after medical attendance and error was made, her pacemaker became dislodged from the site and embedded itself under her armpit, causing her long-term and CHRONIC illness Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). Very little is known about this illness, and very few people understand it; it's debilitating, painful, and a killer overall. She made her life a good one and a happy one despite being disabled, bed and house bound for the last year of her life. She doted on her nieces and her nephews from all of her siblings and made every attempt to make all of her family and friends' lives as good as possible. This day has been discussed in depth with kelly, my family and myself; she did have a funeral plan in place but was unable to keep up with payments. We want to be able to make her funeral her last "GAYEST" party, as she always said she wanted. She was a proud lesbian and always supported the LGBTQ+ community and vocalised her opinions to everyone and anyone that she came across.
As we all know, funerals are expensive; This was VERY unexpected. As a family, we can't fund the cheapest send-off, let alone the send-off she DESERVES.
Although all donations are greatly appreciated, please be aware we don't know how many can attend the funeral, but everyone will be made aware of details and where her final resting place will be.
Thank you to everyone who has sent their condolences at this difficult time.
