Kelly T Andersen

On April 2nd, Kelly Andersen went in for an MRI after his wife, Koye, noticed him not being able to perform tasks that he had previously been able to do in his sleep. That MRI resulted in the discovery of a 5cm brain tumor. Kelly underwent surgery to remove the tumor two days later.

Kelly and his family have been in good spirits and praying for the best pathology results possible. April 13th they received the devastating news that his tumor is a stage 4 Glioblastoma. This is a rare cancer that grows and spreads rapidly. Doctors are hopeful that they can slow the growth with chemotherapy and radiation treatments, giving Kelly some precious time to spend with his wife, children, and grandchildren. 

Over the coming days & weeks ahead, they will need to be at doctors’ appointments, hospital stays, and treatments. As you can imagine, the normal costs of everyday living, medical expenses, and loss of work time can be overwhelming. Kelly is a hard worker, always willing to help others, and a friend to all. He would never ask for anything. We are starting this to help ease the financial burden & to enable Kelly & Koye to focus on fighting this.
