Kelly vs ALS

Many of you may recall Kelly got hit with the devastating news of an ALS diagnosis in February of 2021. Since that time, she has done nothing but fight the battle she has been forced to face. Many of you know how incredibly strong this woman is! This family will stop at nothing to halt the progression of this horrible disease. We refuse to let ALS rob her of any more joy and happiness.

As an update, she has tried two different clinical trials that unfortunately did not make enough difference to warrant her dealing with the unrelated and unrelenting side effects that the drugs came along with. The funds previously raised have supported her at-home, naturopathic-related treatment (supplements, detox, home equipment).

The Lord most recently drew our attention to a clinic out of Miami, Bodyscience, specializing in motor neuron and neurodegenerative diseases. Kelly self-funded her first trip there, which was an exhaustive three weeks of testing and initial treatment. There, we finally got some answers. We found out that Kelly tested positive for several species of Lyme disease that MIMIC ALS. She also tested positive for West Nile, Epstein Barr and Toxoplasmosis. These viruses and infections KILL motor neurons. So the plan is to treat all of them strategically, halt her progression, rebuild her muscle strength, and improve her speech and breathing.

To be transparent, this costs a lot of money and is not covered by insurance. The first trip cost Kelly around $25,000. Kelly will return for her first treatment to target Lyme disease in November. Moving forward, she will require more trips to Miami to continue this treatment plan. There have been two ALS reversals at this clinic already- one of them took three years of treatment! With that said, I am starting this GoFundMe page to help raise the money Kelly needs to see this treatment through. We hope and pray that this will be life-changing for her.
