Kelly's Dementia care
Donation protected
In 2013 My Cousin Kelly started having tests for Dementia at the Young age of 39 which as you all know is a very young age for this disease but is possible. Now 2 years on our family still don't have any answers after numerous tests, hospital appointments, visits to doctors and so on. Not only do we not have any clue what sort of dementia it is we also have NO treatment for Kelly!! At her last appointment with the head dementia consultant at the RVI hospital to discuss the results of her PET/ct scan they were told not very much to be honest and that he wanted to see her in 6 months .. Now after this 6 months that will be 2 1/2 years of waiting for answers, help, treatment.
The family have heard there is a private clinic/hospital in London and we want to take her there but we are just a normal family and need help to achieve this!
After 2 years of nothing already from the NHS what's to lose right??
So if any of you lovely people could help us on this journey we as a family would be very grateful. Many Thanks for taking the time to read this and helping if you can
