Her Name...
Kelly Dedrick is a beautiful 39 year old who is married to Daniel. They have two children, a 18 year old daughter, Adreanna (Dre), and a 14 year old son, Josiah (Si), to which they serve as pastors at Acceleration Church in Westbrook, Maine.
Kelly was diagnosed in February of 2012 with Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma, Follicular Mycosis Fungoides type, a non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Her Nuisance...
CTCL is a type of cancer of the immune system which is caused by mutation of T-cells. These cells in the body initially migrate to the skin causing lesions to appear. For the last 3 years, Kelly has battled disabling symptoms; severe whole-body itchy rashes, raised skin patchiness (plaques) and discoloration, burning sensations, insomnia, loss of hair, open soars, and irrability. She has constant pain in her muscles, lower back, and numbness throughout her extremities to the point that makes it difficult for her to walk.
Kelly began treatment in 2012 that included UV light treatment, which was temporarily effective, but came back more aggressively with open, oozing, and painful soars throughtout her body causing disease progress in severity and phase.
In 2014-15, Kelly was seen by medical professionals at Dana Farber in Boston, Massachusetts and Maine Medical Partners (which we love all on our team) which topical steroids, cremes, and medications were used to manage her skin deterioration and saw positive results short-term. Kelly has underwent many rounds of chemo therapy (which have been unsuccessful) as well as 5 rounds of radiation. Due to the chemotherapy, severe side-effects were seen including excruciating blistering and peeling of skin on her hands and feet causing her to be hospitalized for 10 days.
In recent weeks, Kelly's pain has increased exponentially to the point that many days she is nearly incapacitated. Her cancer has drained her ability to function in life (8-10 hours each day) which causes her uneasiness. Overall, CTCL has brought her quality of life to a devastating halt and threatens to destroy a normal future.

Many of you have joined our endeavor to help us rescue Kelly's life against this cancer. Some of you have just learned of our plight through her story today. Wherever you've entered into her story, we ask that you prayfully consider financially helping us in getting her well. The average cost to receive treatment is $15,000 per session and last over a 8-12 week duration. Kelly has recently been placed on the bone-marrow transplant list and will undergo treatment within the next few months once a donor has been found. It has been stressful having been denied by insurance companies for treatment that was recommeded through our medical team. And now, the financial burden is threatening her quality of life.
