Kelly Koons' Treatment Fund

When friends think of Kelly Koons there are a few things that come right to mind. First and foremost, she is hard working, selfless, authentic, and fun. If you spend any time with Kelly, it is easy to see why her friends and family truly think the world of her. We look up to her and respect her salt-of-the-earth, can-do attitude. She is a beam of light and a breath of fresh air in all she does.

Kelly is also deeply connected to nature and to health. She loves the outdoors and exersize. She also brings harmony and peace to those around her. Whether its her clients, her family, or her friends, Kelly focuses on how to heal, soothe, and strenghen the people in her life.

In 2012, Kelly was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer. Since that time, she has undergone 7 surgeries. By June of this year, Kelly will have gone through 43 rounds of chemo therapy.  

During all of this, Kelly has continued to work hard and to keep smiling. She's walked over 1000 miles to focus on her health and peace of mind. She also lives by a rigorous health regimen.

Kelly stays so positive, but sometimes she feels like she has more to worry about than just getting healthy.  With aggressive chemo therapy underway and seeking immunotherapy, Kelly has incurred over $100,000 in health-related costs over the last three years. This is money she doesn't have and shouldn't be focusing on.

That's why her friends and family are teaming up to help give Kelly financial peace of mind. She shouldn't be worrying about the cost of chemo or immunotherapy. She should be fully focused on getting well. We can't control cancer, but WE have the power to help decrease her stress.
