World Central Kitchen Chosen Honorary "Winning" Charity Recipient
Kelly's Cookie Challenge for Charity (#ABWcookie) is our annual cookie bake-off with all proceeds donated to the winning team's charity of choice. Since we can not gather in person this year we have chosen World Central Kitchen as our honorary "winning" charity. Founded by Bethesda resident and local hero, José Andrés, World Central Kitchen is working across America to safely distribute individually packaged, nutritious meals to those who need support. Can you help us meet our fundraising goal for WCK?
About World Central Kitchen
WCK has served more than 19 million meals in over 300 cities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. WCK’s Chef Relief Team steps out of the kitchen and onto the front lines to provide meals to those in need. They have responded to emergencies in Haiti, Peru, Houston, Puerto Rico, California, Hawaii, Indonesia, Guatemala, Mexico the Carolinas, Florida, Nebraska, Mozambique, Colombia, Venezuela and recently to California.
