Recently, our fun-loving Kelly was diagnosed with a rare form of Renal Cell Carcinoma. This involves his left Kidney, which has created a very large mass invading his abdominal cavity, as well as other areas of his body. For now, the primary focus for treatment is radiation to treat his backbone to stop it from spreading. In addition, he will receive radiation treatment on the abdominal mass, in an effort to shrink and make it operable. Due to the complications that the abdominal mass has casused, Kelly had to stop working three weeks ago. Kelly's wife, Cindy, has been off work caring for him.
This week, Kelly was admitted to the hospital to address some of these complications, get some additional test ran, and hoepfully fast track his treatment plan. While the reports given by the doctors have been hard to hear, we know who the Great Physician is, and that He has the final word. Our faith shall be our eyes!
Kelly, Cindy, Karlee & Dillon, and the entire Handley family, thank everyone for the cards, calls, prayers and messages we have received through this difficult time. As we unite as a family, we ask for continued prayers, and any financial support you may feel lead to give. All funds will go towards helping Kelly & Cindy with their immediate loss of income, and cost they will be incurring in the days to come.
