Kelly's rare mass removal

 

My name is Kelly. Two years ago a suspicious mass was discovered growing in the orbit if my left eye during a visit at the ER. 

From there I spent 2 years trying to find a doctor that can remove this mass from my eye and was given the run around. Time, disappointment and money waisted just to be told they don't deal with the kind of mass growing or they dont feel comfortable touching it. 

The mass is getting really big and is starting to cause alot of damage. 

Finally I was referred to the Bascom eye institute in Miami. 

After two grueling trips for us, we finally found the answer and a surgeon who is willing to remove it. I have a rare mass called a orbital Cavernous malformation.

the mass will continue to grow as it feeds off the artery in my face and is causing proptosis of my left eye, meaning the mass is pushing my eyeball up and to the side

I dont qualify for medicade because I'm to young under 65, im to old because I'm over 21, and im not pregnant! Then as of today I found out I do t qualify for the sponsorship program because the cost of the surgery is to low. 

So now I'm past my pride and could really use help, I don't want to loose my eye. 

 

Any amount will be greatly appreciated and I truly understand if you are unable to. The pandemic ha stakem a toll on everyone. 

 

The amount I need to raise will cover the cost of the surgery, I'm not asking for help with funds that will be lost from missing work, travel expenses to Miami etc... this is simply the cost of the surgery which is called a Orbitotomy
