Kelowna Fire has taken everything from my mom

Hey guys my name is Cherise. My mom Christine just retired and was staying with some friends in Kelowna with all of her belongings.

Unfortunately she did not have any insurance when the McDougall fire started and has lost everything.

When given the alert to evacuate she was dealing with a fractured wrist so she was struggling to stuff as much as she could into her van and left with only a couple pairs of clothes, a pillow, radio and her important papers.

As all flights have been grounded in and out of Kelowna all I can do is help from afar… 5$,10$ anything would be greatly appreciated as she is now 70 years old and now has to start from scratch. Thank you everyone for your generosity and warm comforts. I pray for all those who have been affected by this tragic Fire.
