Kelsey Anne Heimerman Flash Flood Fundraiser

Kelsey is a Dallas based artist who was out of the country when the flash floods hit Dallas in the morning of August 22nd. Her studio was flooded with water and from initial estimates she's lost 1/5 of her current collection. Kelsey specializes in oil painting and gilding with gold making her pieces complex, high quality, and extremely time intensive. To lose that much of her current work is devastating as each maximalist piece can take up to half a year to create.

This studio space in Fair Park was her dream. She finally found a community and it reminded her of SoHo in the 80s; an artist and musician's enclave filled to the brim with talent. Over the years she brought many of her friends to also live there and share the neighborhood that she loved. To see this amazing community hurting has devastated her and our hope by setting up this GoFundMe is to lift Kelsey back on her feet and remind her why this neighborhood is worth saving; it just wouldn’t be the same without her. Unfortunately, insurance will not cover any of the supplies/furniture or artwork that was damaged. I want to do what we can to help Kelsey out because she's constantly helping others. It's just who she is, and now is a time she could use our help!
