Kelsey's Recovery from Life-Changing Crash

On Sunday, January 12th, Kelsey Mitchell was involved in a fatal car accident with a wrong way driver on I-96 which resulted in numerous traumatic injuries & one death. A night with family & friends that was once a fun evening turned into a very tragic incident while on the

way home with her 2 sisters that was injured also. This Horrific tragedy impact has caused Kelsey daily routine to come to an end .This Day as changed Kelsey’s life tremendously . Due to the impact of the head on collision Kelsey has had 4 broken ribs, Fracture pelvis

Whole right side was affected .. Kelsey has to learn to walk all over.. catheter placed in back to control medication for her broken ribs and pelvis. Also lungs were affected making it hard to breathe on her on. Kelsey is currently taking breathing treatments every 4 hours while learning how to breathe all over on her own without any oxygen. Kelsey was incredibly in shape before this tragedy. Ever since this incident it has been so hard for her. I can’t imagine being this young having to endure things that she has.
