Kelsy Conard Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Kelsy Conard was taken from us far too early, at 37, on May 29th, 2019. Over the last 8 months, Kelsy conveyed a strength that would seem impossible to many. Though a rare, Pancreatic Cancer may have won the battle against his body, in the end, its Kelsy’s spirit and memory that will win the war.
Kelsy was a fiercely loving husband to Chelsea Conard, and a father to their two beloved children, Mason(5) and Maelee (22 months). He put every ounce of his effort into providing for them; making sure that they never had to settle for anything less than the best. Those that knew Kelsy well, knew that they could count on him day or night, rain or shine – a true and loyal friend and family member.
One of Kelsy’s most engaging qualities was the passion that he had for everything he did. A devoted countryman, he served 2 terms in Iraq as a Staff Sergeant MP, and was trained to be a sniper. Once out of the army, he wasted no time, and started his journey as an entrepreneur. He and his wife started, owned, and operated not one, but two businesses. He was always up at the crack of dawn, and usually wasn’t finished until the sun set – but that certainly didn’t stop him from having a hobby or two (or ten). Fishing, hunting, racing, overlanding, adventure seeking, mechanical tinkering – these are just a few of things that come to mind. With all of that said, though, Kelsy’s greatest passion was sharing his own passions with those that he loved the most – and they were always shared amongst an elaborate home cooked meal where dessert was a must.
This fund is intended to serve as a memorial for Kelsy and his surviving family. The money will be used to pay for the required medical support he received over the last eight months. Anything that remains will then be contributed to a fund set up for Mason and Maelee, in Kelsy's honor. This link will stay open until after a memorial service has been held. At that time, the money will be transferred to Chelsea Conard.
Chelsea, Mason, Maelee, and all of Kelsy's extended family thank you, in advance, for any donations made in Kelsy's honor.
