Kelvin Jones Family Fund

Dawn Wallace Jones is the spouse of David McDavid Honda of Frisco Service Advisor Kelvin Jones, of whom has had the pleasure of spending the past 15 years as his wife. Kelvin and Dawn have three beautiful daughters, Taylor, 13, Megan, 12, and McKenzie, 12, all of whom are active middle schoolers involved in various extracurricular activities. The Jones family enjoys travelling, having family movie nights and dining out together. The laughter shared among them, when heard, is infectious.

In August of 2016, Dawn was first diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer during a routine exam. After undergoing her first round of chemotherapy and a double mastectomy in February 2017, her cancer was reclassified as Stage 4 because it was also in her lymph nodes. She continued with treatment and radiation, and reveled in almost 6 months of remission before her cancer returned in August 2017. 

Since then, she has had an ongoing and uphill battle with this disease. Her oncologists have tried so many different forms and variations in treatment and medications, including three different clinical trials. Her battle with this disease took a turn in the wrong direction with the spread of the cancer to both her liver and lung, which has affected her breathing, energy and ability to perform self care routines.  The support of Kelvin and her parents have been invaluable on her path to recovery.

 Kelvin has been a valuable part of the David McDavid Honda of Frisco team for the past 15 years, and has always been a hard-working and dedicated team member. He is always there for his fellow team members, so we want to be there for him and the entire Jones family during their time of support and need. This GoFundMe page was organized by Kelvin's team members at David McDavid Honda of Frisco to help raise funds to cover medical bills and any other essential costs and needs.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Jones family as they band together to support Dawn on this difficult journey.
