My brother Ken was awakened by his dog and the smoke detector. He Escaped with his life. He lost everything. The story behind the loss is what makes it even more heartbreaking. He built the log home for his wife Dixie. She got to live there for 6 months. So not only did he lose his home but him and his children and grandchildren lost every Cherished item that remained from her.
