Ken Kelley needs your help.

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Joe and I’m Ken’s nephew. On 9/17/23 Ken suffered a severe stroke in the pons section of the brainstem. He is currently paralyzed on the right side of his body.

Ken has an extremely challenging road ahead of him. Doctors suggest as much acute rehabilitation as possible. Ken’s loving wife Lucille has helped Ken get into a very good skilled nursing facility in Oregon where is his receiving daily PT/OT and speech therapy.

Sadly, insurance will only fully cover 21 days of services and today is the 21st day. Ken and Lucille are prepared to do whatever it takes to see Ken recover as much of his mobility and independence as possible, which could mean the loss of their home.

Ken’s path and timeline for recovery is not certain. He is a fighter but he needs your help.
Rehab will cost between $6,000 and $15,000 per month not including medications.

For those who don’t know Ken, he spent several decades at IBM before retiring to become a drug and alcohol counselor. He directly counseled over 7,000 people in need in addition to the work he’s done helping others during his 50+ years of continuous sobriety in Alcoholics Anonymous.

I wish I could provide my uncle with the financial help he needs, but I can only contribute a fraction of what is needed. I humbly ask for your help by either donating directly or spreading the word for this amazing human.
