It is hard to put into words what Ken McPhail has done for White Flame Brewing Co. Not only has he been a kickass head brewer but he has become a part of our family. While we are all still trying to process his diagnosis I figured it’d be easiest for me to share with you all what Ken has to say about it...
“I was recently was in the Hospital for Shortness of Breath. Extreme fatigue, and other bad symptoms. After a week of diagnosis and blood transfusions they came back with the diagnosis of MULTIPLE MYELOMA. It is a form of Blood Cancer. I will begin My Chemotherapy starting tomorrow and continue for 4 months.” -Ken McPhail
That being said, it’s time for us to rally behind our brother, friend, father, son.... let’s show Ken and his family the love and support that he’s shown us for many years. He’s devoted himself to brewing amazing beer—now it’s our turn to take care of one of our own.
