Ken Nottage Memorial Garden at Malvern Showground
Here at Three Counties Agricultural Society we are raising funds to create a special memorial garden in The Showground as a tribute to Ken Nottage. Ken served as CEO of our organisation with consummate professionalism and charisma for 11 years, touching countless lives through his dedicated service to the Three Counties Shows and charitable endeavours. Ken's visionary leadership laid the groundwork for the enduring prosperity of the Three Counties Showground and the Agricultural Society, ensuring a vibrant future for our rural communities.
Ken was an outstanding former England and club professional basketball player who became director of Newcastle Eagles, turning it into the most successful British basketball team of all time. His achievements in basketball were followed by success at Gloucester Rugby, where he was managing director for 13 years, seeing the club top the league three times, lift three trophies and develop commercially.
The memorial garden will be a permanent feature at the South Gate entrance of our Showground, a lasting legacy in Ken's name with inspirational landscaping and inviting seating for visitors to enjoy views of the Malvern Hills.
We invite you to help us create a living tribute befitting Ken's extraordinary legacy by extending whatever contribution you can. Your generosity will help bring to life a stunning garden meticulously designed to pay homage to a legendary figure.
It is our intention to recognise all companies and individuals who donate on a commemorative thank you plaque in the garden.
